When he made his debut with pop singles like Krazy Konnection and Le Ja Zakhm Tere, Armaan Malik was only 17. And within a span of two years, the singer-composer has succeeded in making a mark for himself.
Furthermore, songs like Auliya (Ungli) and Naina (Khoobsurat), have not only added to his popularity but also bagged him awards under the Best Music Debut categories for film and non-film music (for his self-titled pop album Armaan).

Armaan believes his biggest asset is his ability to switch between peppy numbers and soulful Sufi renditions. “I also enjoy performing live. In fact, whenever there is a show or a music fest in colleges across the country, I’m always approached for it. The youth and I completely relate to each other,” he says.
When teased that he had young girls swooning over his chocolate-boy looks, Armaan said, “Which guy would not like that kind of attention?”
He is looking forward to a packed 2015. “There is Mastizaade, Calendar Girls and Ghayal Returns, where I have sung songs. I also plan to come out with some really cool singles and interesting collaborations with varied artistes,” he concludes.
